ABOUT TBR MEDIA
Founded in December of 2017, the concept of The Burrow Reviews has continuously evolved.
Our mission at conception was to amplify independent voices across the local and international film community—which we have continued to uphold. In fact, some of our more recent indie submissions have been projects from across the world.
We’ve been blessed to cover everything from Prairie Lights Film Festival, to the first ever Nightstream Film Festival, and the 18th Anime NebrasKon convention as verified press; in addition, the team has a wide array of education with diverse perspectives and experiences. It is a core principle of ours that we remain dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive space to discuss pop culture and our love for cinema.
Among being one of the first few Nebraska based movie blogs, we have been tirelessly working towards branching out into other creative avenues such as Cine-ish (our entertainment podcast), exclusive YouTube videos, and occasionally streaming games on Twitch. With industry news coverage, in-depth film and television analysis, and our own branded content like Drunk Trivia, Close-Up w/ TBR, and Boiling Points, our aim is to provide a hub for film entertainment and indie filmmaking alike.

Jared graduated from UNL with a BA in Film Studies and English. Between collaborating with peers of Aksarben Creative, navigating the indie film scene, and running TBR Media, Jared spends his time writing various screenplays.

CONTENT CURATION MANAGER
Wren specializes in event planning and sales coordination. She uses her background as a way to build brand identity, including for TBR Media. In addition, she hosts “Based on a True Story,” our very own true crime podcast on all major platforms.
